Prof. Abhishek Nagaraj

Prof. Nagaraj holds a MS/PhD in Technological Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Strategic Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA and a B.S. in Computer Science.

Prof. Nagaraj has been involved in entrepreneurship research, teaching and practice since 2008.

Abhishek’s research concerns AI, Tech Innovation and Entrepreneurship. His recent research has looked at using Large Language Models to augment social science research and has studied the dynamics of competition in AI markets. He has also been involved with startups both as a founder and as an advisor to early-stage companies in Cambridge, MA and Silicon Valley.

Abhishek has won numerous awards for his research including the Academy of Management Technology and Innovation Management Best Dissertation Award, the Kauffman Fellowship, the Beyster Fellowship, the Wiley-Blackwell Dissertation Award and the MIT Energy Fellowship. He has also won the Chiet Award - the highest award for teaching at Haas.
